This is another painting from the Greifswald series. If you walk along the harbour to the Greifswalder Bodden along the small river (Ryck) you wil see many boats and places to rest. If you not here in the summer time the area is very calm and it is easy to relax. This scene is a typical view you will find with the wide landscape and boats waiting for their next trip.
