At the moment we are deep in wintertime and have a lot of snow outside. To get a little bit of summer feeling and warmth and sunshine i took a foto from Palermo in Sicily and painted this small beach scene. The houses are very old and stand very close to the sea. Only a small stripe of sand can be used for swimming. There are some people and kids taking this opportunity. The painting was done on Arches 300gr rouph paper in size 36x51cm.
